घटना-2 कुछ सत्य अदृश्य में छिपे हैं। Some truths are hidden in the invisible.

दूसरे विश्व युद्ध की ही एक एक दूसरे घटना का जिक्र करते हुए रुथ मांटगोमरी आगे लिखती है कि युद्ध के दौरान मानसिक तनाव अचानक बढ़ जाती है। वैसे तो यह मानसिक तनाव सामान्य लोगों मे भी दिखाई देता है लेकिन उन लोगों में सबसे ज्यादा दिखाई देता है जिनके परिवार का कोई न कोई सदस्य युद्ध में शामिल होते है।
Referring to one incident of the second world war, Ruth Montgomery further writes that the mental tension during the war suddenly increases. Although this mental tension is also seen in normal people, but it is most visible among those whose family members are involved in war.

वे अपनी पुस्तक में लिखती हैं कि अमेरिका के वी0 एलेक्सिस जानसन, जो पूर्व में चेकोस्लोवाकिया और थाईलैंड के राजदूत रह चुके थे, उन्हें जापान का राजदूत बनाया गया। वे मुकडेन नगर में रह रहे थे। युद्ध के कारण बच्चों को अपने देश अमेरिका भेज दिया था। उनकी पत्नी कैलिफोर्निया के लैगूना बीच में रहती थी।
She writes in her book that V Alexis Johnson of America, formerly Ambassador of Czechoslovakia and Thailand, was made the ambassador of Japan. He was living in Mukden Nagar. Due to the war, children were sent to their country to America. His wife lived in Laguna Beach, California.

इस दौरान श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया जानसन ने जापान के समाचार जानने के लिए कई बार अपना रेडियो ऑन किया, पर रेडियो ने वहाँ का मीटर पकड़ा ही नहीं। एक दिन पड़ोसी ने बताया कि उनके घर का रेडियो जापानी प्रसारण को खूब अच्छी तरह पकड़ता है। इस बात पर श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया जानसन ने तीन महीने तक कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया।
During this time, Mrs. Petrosia Johnson turned on her radio several times to learn about the news of Japan, but the radio did not catch the meter there. One day a neighbor said that his home radio captures Japanese broadcasts very well. Mrs Petrosia Johnson paid no attention to this for three months.

अचानक एक दिन श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया जानसन को रेडियो सुनने की तीव्र इच्छा हुई, वे उस पड़ोसी के घर गई। रेडियो का स्विच घुमाया ही था कि आवाज आई, "हम रेडियो स्टेशन मुकडेन से बोल रहे है। अब आप एक अमेरिकन ऑफिसर कैदी वी0 जानसन को सुनेगे।"
Suddenly one day Mrs. Petrosia Johnson had a strong desire to listen to the radio, she went to the neighbor's house. The radio switched on as the voice rang out, "We are speaking from radio station Mukden. Now you will hear an American officer prisoner, V Johnson."

श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया एकाग्रचित्त होकर बैठ गई। अगले ही क्षण जो आवाज आई, वह उसके ही पति की थी। वे बोल रहे थे, "मैं वी0 एलेक्सिस जानसन मुकडेन से बोल रहा हूँ। जो भी कैलिफोर्निया, अमेरिका के नागरिक इसे सुनें, कृपया मेरा संदेश मेरी पत्नी पेट्रोसिया जानसन या मेरे माता-पिता श्री एवं श्री। मती कार्ल टी0 जानसन तक पहुँचा दें कि मैं यहाँ कैद में हूँ। स्वस्थ हूँ। खाना अच्छा मिलता है और आशा करता हूँ कि कैदियों की अदला बदली में शीघ्र ही छूट जाऊँगा। पत्नी और बच्चों को प्यार भेजता हूँ।"
Mrs. Petrosia sat down with concentration.  The voice that came the next moment was that of her husband. He was speaking,"I am speaking to V Alexis Johnson Mukden. Whatever California, US citizens hear, please pass on my message to my wife Petrosia Johnson or my parents Mr. and Mr. Carl T. Johnson. I am in captivity here. I am healthy. I get good food and hope that I will be released soon in exchange of prisoners. Send love to wife and children."

दो महीने बाद जब जानसन कैदियों की अदला बदली में छूट कर आ गए, तो श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया जानसन को पति से मिलने गई। थोड़े समय के लिए ही उन्हें मिलने दिया गया, क्योंकि कुछ समय बाद जानसन को जहाज पर जाना था। श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया को थोड़े समय बाद ही घर वापस आना पड़ा।
Two months later, when Johnson returned to the exchange of prisoners, Mrs. Petrosia went to see Johnson. He was allowed to meet for a short time, because Johnson had to board the ship after some time. Mrs. Petrosia had to return home shortly after.

मन विचलित होने के कारण अपने दोस्तों के साथ सिनेमा देखने के लिए गई, सिनेमा देखने के लिए बैठी थी लेकिन वहाँ से कुछ मिनटों के बाद ही उठकर बाहर जाकर अपने घर का फोन मिलाया तो दूसरी तरफ से श्री जानसन बोले और बताया कि मैं घर पर हूँ, मुझे जहाज में नहीं जाना पड़ा। श्रीमती पेट्रोसिया सिनेमा छोड़ कर घर चली गई।
Distraught, she went to see the cinema with her friends, was sitting to watch the cinema, but after getting up from there, got up and shook her home phone, Mr. Johnson said from the other side and told that I am at home  I did not have to board the ship. Mrs. Petrosia left the cinema and went home.

अन्तःकरण मानवीय संवेदनाओं का केंद्र है। इसी केंद्र से संवेदनाएँ उठती, उभरती और अपनों तक प्रसारित होती रहती है। यदि ऐसा नहीं होता तो जिस महिला को तीन महीने तक रेडियो सुनने की आवश्यकता नहीं महसूस हुई, लेकिन जिस समय उसके पति रेडियो देने वाले होते है, उसके कुछ मिनट पहले उसे रेडियो सुनने की तीव्र इच्छा होती है और वह महिला दूसरे के घर जाकर रेडियो पर समाचार का प्रसारण सुनती है।
The conscience is the center of human sensations. From this center, sensations arise, arise and spread to the loved ones. ऐसी अनेक घटनाओं के विश्लेषण करने पर पता चलता है कि कोई ऐसी अदृश्य शक्ति अवश्य है जिसने मनुष्य को एक भावनात्मक संबंध में बाँध रखा है।
