महाराज अस्सक और महात्मा बुद्ध। Maharaj Assak and Mahatma Buddha

महाराज अस्सक अपनी सुन्दर, गुणवती, बुद्धिमान रानी उब्बरा को अपने घर से भी अधिक प्रेम करते थे। समयानुसार उनकी मृत्यु हो गई। इस कारण दुखी महाराज ने खाना पीना दोनों त्याग दिया। वे केवल उसके मृत शरीर को तेल से लिप्त रखकर उसके समीप बैठे रहते।
Maharaja Asaq loved his beautiful, quality, intelligent queen Ubbara more than his home.  He died on time.  For this reason, the unhappy Maharaja gave up drinking both.  They would only sit near him, keeping his dead body covered with oil.

उन दिनों महात्मा बुद्ध अपने पूर्व जन्म बोधिसत्व के रूप में थे।उन्होंने जम्बूद्वीप का भ्रमण करते समय राजा को इस अवस्था में देखा तो उनकी सहायता करने का निश्चय किया। वे राजा से मिलने पहुँचे। बोधिसत्व के तेज को देखकर राजा उनसे मिले और अपनी व्यथा उनसे व्यक्त की।
In those days, Mahatma Buddha was as a Bodhisattva in his former birth. When he visited the Jambudweep, when he saw the king in this state, he decided to help him.  They reached to meet the king. Seeing the glory of the Bodhisattva, the king met him and expressed his agony to him.

राजा ने बोधिसत्व से पूछा कि क्या वे रानी उबर से उनको मिलवा सकते हैं? बोधिसत्व ने ध्यान लगाया और बताया कि रानी उब्बरा को दूसरा जन्म मिल गया हैं और वे उन्हीं के बाग में एक कीट के रूप में जन्मी हैं।
The king asked the Bodhisattva whether he could introduce her to Queen Uber? The Bodhisattva meditated and told that Queen Ubbara had got a second birth and was born as an insect in his garden.

राजा को बोधिसत्व की बात पर विश्वास नहीं हुआ। बोधिसत्व ने योग बल से उस कीट को वहाँ बुलाया और राजा को यह शक्ति प्रदान की कि वे उससे बात कर सकें। राजा ने उस कीट से पूछा कि तुम पूर्व जन्म में कौन थे?
The king did not believe the Bodhisattva.  The Bodhisattva summoned the insect there with the force of yoga and empowered the king to speak to him. The king asked the insect who you were in the past life?

कीट ने बताया कि वह पूर्व जन्म में रानी उब्बरा था। राजा ने उससे अनुरोध किया कि क्या वह इस देह को त्याग कर पूर्वत रानी की देह में आना चाहेगा?
Keats reported that he was Queen Ubbara in a former life. The king requested her whether he would like to renounce this body and come to the body of the erstwhile queen?

कीट ने ऐसा करने से मना कर दिया कि मुझे अपनी वर्तमान देह से मोह हो गया हैं। इसे छोड़ने का मेरा कोई मंतब्य नहीं हैं। तब राजा की आसक्ति टुटी और उन्होंने अपने राजधर्म को पूर्वत निभाना आरम्भ किया।
Keats refuses to do so that I have become fascinated with my present body.  I have no intention of leaving it. Then the king's attachment broke and he began to follow his royal religion.
